Step 1

Peel the backing off the adhesive copper strip.

Stick it to the back.  Place it about a finger width below the top, with about one inch hanging off the end.  

Wrap the extra inch around to the front and stick it to the card.

Step 2

Place the battery on top of the copper tape with the word "Energizer" facing up.

Step 3

Place one end of the wire (yours may be either red or white) on top of the battery.

Step 4

Use a piece of tape to tape the wire and battery to the card.

Wrap extra tape around the back to hold it securely.

Do NOT cover more than 1/3 of the copper strip on the back.

Step 5

Place the LEDs over the top of the card.

They should not touch each other.  The should touch the copper strip.

LEDs have a long and a short lead.  The short lead goes on the back.

Step 6

Tape the short lead of each LED to the copper strip.

They should not touch each other.  The should touch the copper strip.

Step 7

Touch the lead wire to either LED, but not both at the same time.
