When you think of Scouting, what is the first thing that comes to mind?  Is it hiking, camping, water safety, or first aid?  We do all of those things, but we do so much more.  In Scouts your child will have the opportunity to learn about aerospace engineering, electronics, meteorology, chemistry, just to name a few!

In a normal year, a Scout will do several STEM activities.  But what if your child wants more?

For Scouts in 2nd - 5th grade, we have the Nova Awards.  This is a series of eleven awards a Scout can earn in archeology, geology, mechanical engineering, and many more.

The highest STEM award in Cub Scouting is the Supernova Award.  Pack 225 is proud to have presented these prestigious awards to two of our Scouts.
